Our wedding is in Highlands, NC, which is about a 2 hour and 30 minutes drive from Atlanta and about a 5 hour drive for those around and outside the Charleston area. Please see below for Travel Details and Accommodations.

- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) - 2 hour and 30 minute drive from the Atlanta Airport
- Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) - 1 hour and 30 minute drive from the Asheville airport
- Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) - 2 hour drive from the Greenville airport
When considering options to book - please note that Highlands does not have Rideshare available in the area. We recommend finding accommodations within downtown Highlands where you can walk to the Old Edwards Shuttles for the Wedding. You can also drive and park in downtown Highlands if staying in an accommodation outside of downtown Highlands to take the shuttle or if you prefer, you can even drive to the venue. There is parking available for those who wish to drive to the venue.

Old Edwards Inn and Spa

3 night minimum is required starting Saturday (5/24). Old Edwards Inn is located in downtown Highlands. The Old Edwards shuttle will be picking up guests right outside of Old Edwards Inn & Spa.
200 Main

Highlander Mountain House & The Ruffed Grouse Tavern

Guests need to call the Highlander Mountain House hotel reservations - (828) 526-2590 to request rooms. Please call between Wednesday - Sunday between 11:00am and 4:00pm for booking. 14 rooms are available here under our room block.
A minimum night stay is not required. Highlander Mountain House is located in downtown Highlands. It is in walking distance to either of the Old Edwards Shuttle pickup locations for the wedding (200 Main is closer or Old Edwards Inn & Spa).
The Outpost Inn Highlands
Room Block: "Ehlers/Reynolds Wedding".
Guests need to call the Outpost Inn hotel reservations - (828) 526-2590 to request rooms. Please call between Wednesday - Sunday between 11:00am and 4:00pm for booking and ask to speak with Catherine Surrency to claim their room. 12 rooms are available here under our room block.
No minimum night stay is required. Outpost Inn is a short walk to downtown Highlands (5 minutes). It is closest to the Old Edwards Shuttle pickup location outside of the Old Edwards Inn & Spa for the Wedding.

The Park on Main
This hotel is right across from 200 Main in downtown Highlands. You can catch the Old Edwards shuttles for the Wedding at 200 Main across the street. A minimum night stay is not required. Pet Friendly.
Trailborn Highlands
2 night minimum is required for this hotel. Trailborn is located in downtown Highlands. It is in walking distance to the Old Edwards Shuttle pickup location for the Wedding outside 200 Main (6 minute walk).
Highlands Inn
Highlands Inn is located in downtown Highlands. It is right across from Old Edwards Inn & Spa. You can catch the Old Edwards shuttles for the Wedding at Old Edwards Inn & Spa.
For reservations, please call - (828) 526-9380. Please note when booking, Highlands Inn is closed from December - April so please book reservations before the offices close for the season.
Highlands Vacation Rentals
Highlands Vacation Rentals by David Bock is a great place to stay. The Inn at Mill Creek suites over the Blue Bike Cafe/adjacent to the Stubborn Bull as well as guest suites over the Spinx gas station are available and are located in downtown Highlands. All accommodations are within a 5 minute walk to Old Edwards Inn & Spa to catch the Old Edwards shuttles for the Wedding. Skyline Lodge
Skyline Lodge is another great option of where to stay. It is a 10-12 minutes drive to downtown Highlands (4.1 miles). Oak Steakhouse is located in Skyline Lodge.
High Camp
Modern Cabins to rent in Highlands and is about a 6 minute drive to downtown Highlands (3 miles away). Pet Friendly.
Other Lodging Options around Highlands Area (Cashiers, NC)
Please note if you prefer to book accommodations in Cashiers that the drive between Highlands and Cashiers is not a straight drive, but there are switchbacks and it is a steep drive (10.2 mile - roughly 20 minute drive).
